A munch is, at its core, just dinner: a casual social gathering in a public space — a café, a pub, a restaurant back room — where people interested in BDSM, kink, and related communities meet, talk, and get to know each other. Everyone stays fully clothed. No play happens. It's the lowest-pressure entry point the community has.
You don't need to know anything
You don't need experience, a role, or even certainty that any of this is for you. Plenty of attendees are simply curious. Bring an open mind and ordinary social manners; the terminology can wait.
Etiquette that keeps munches welcoming
- What's said at munch stays at munch — don't out other attendees to anyone outside the group.
- Ask before touching anyone, including hugs.
- Don't assume anyone's role, availability, or orientation.
- No photos without explicit consent from everyone in frame.
- It's for building community, not for picking people up — save the flirting for another setting.
- If you're at a venue that depends on paying customers, buy something.
What to expect at Forever Social
Our monthly Forever Social follows exactly this format: free dress code, no play on site, and volunteer "guides" whose only job is introducing newcomers around. If you're not ready to apply for full membership yet, our Guest tier under membership is built for exactly this first step.
